Synquisitive

SynQuisitive was an event that compelled the students to sit and think about a particular problem statement related to the civil engineering field. The idea was to instill inquisitiveness in the minds of the students about the field and give them a flavour of a real life problem that they might have to face on field.

A 3-day workshop for AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360 software was conducted as an initiative to prepare the students for both industry and academia. Considering the importance of these software, they become an integral part of the skillset in the resume of a Civil Engineer.

Advanced Excel Workshop

A two-day workshop on Advanced Excel was organized by the Academic Council of IITGN in collaboration with the PDC Council of IITGN and SynOCE. The workshop was conducted by Mr Raj K. Singh, a Microsoft certified trainer is having 10 years of experience in the field of Information Technology.

Socha Hai Kya Kabhi

The IR&P council of IITGN had organized a Socha hai kya kabhi series, in which they floated questions worth pondering about but are not related to any specific field. Those are the general problems faced by us in our college or our country. SynOCE provided one such problem statement to the community concerning the advancements in the field of automation.

Treasure Hunt 2.0

Treasure Hunt is yet another online event testing your knowledge about the civil engineering field. The task was to answer the questions given in the PDF document, figure out a code using it and use that code to open the next PDF. This way, the team that solves all the problems in the least amount of time wins. This was the second edition of the event, the first being conducted the previous year.

The Labyrinth City

Do you know what is the toughest thing about going on a tour? Yes, it is agreeing upon an itinerary. We have all kinds of people, the ones who search places on Google Maps, the ones who type "Images of the most beautiful resort near my house" in the search box, or the others that don't bother planning anything!
